HAUS GRC Global Rallycross Race Team

The HAUS GRC Global Rallycross Race Team had its debut season in the 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross series, with Nelson Piquet Jr. behind the wheel of the No. 07 Ford Fiesta ST, a factory Ford car constructed by OMSE (Olsbergs MSE). SH Racing/HAUS Rallycross team is led by owner James “Sulli” Sullivan, partner in the 2013 Indianapolis 500 winning car of KVSH Racing, currently competing in the Verizon IndyCar Series with driver Sebastien Bourdais. Sullivan founded SH Racing in 2010 with roots in motocross, shifted to the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2011, and has returned to action sports in 2014 with Red Bull GRC. After competing in the 2013 X Games Los Angeles, SH Racing began preparations for a full-season Red Bull GRC effort in 2014. Sullivan is the third IndyCar-affiliated owner to venture into GRC for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

Nelson Piquet Jr. signed on in April as a driver for SH Racing Rallycross. Piquet spent almost two full seasons in Formula One (F1) before moving to NASCAR in 2010. He became the first Brazilian to win a NASCAR national series race in 2012 when he won the Nationwide event at Road America.  He also scored Truck Series wins at Michigan and Las Vegas. The 28-year-old Piquet is the son of three-time Formula One world champion Nelson Piquet, one of Brazil’s most successful F1 drivers.
