" /> When Cigarettes Impact the Workplace: Things Former Smokers Remember | Mistic E-Cigs

WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.

Over the years workplace environments have evolved with the times and older generations can vividly remember the days when people were allowed to freely smoke cigarettes in offices, on airplanes, etc. Nowadays the world is much different, and as a former smoker you can probably recall instances when cigarettes — the smoke or simply just the smell of them — negatively impacted the workplace.

The reality is that some people smoke while others do not and as part of that, especially when it comes to jobs where employees are forced to be physically near each other or in enclosed spaces, non-smokers typically don’t want to smell smoke all day. We’ve all been told we reek of cigarette smoke at some point in our lives, and when you no longer smoke you can better understand where others are coming from.

To help curb workplace issues around smoking many businesses and office buildings/complexes have designated smoking areas, which helps solve one part of the equation, though the smell issue still exists. And unfortunately a potent mix of cologne/perfume and minty gum doesn’t always work.

All in all, we are excited to see how the vape industry is expanding in a variety of ways — from new gear to clothing lines — and the number of former smokers continues to rise. Looking forward to seeing what the future has in store!
