" /> When Cigarette Smokers Try E-Cigs for the First Time: 2 Common Experiences | Mistic E-Cigs

More and more people are switching from cigarettes to electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) and as part of that many have questions about what they should expect when vaping for the first time?

Just to clear the air for those that aren’t familiar, vaping is essentially the act of inhaling vapers produced by e-cigs or other vape devices like vape pens or vape mods, and in this post we’re touching on e-cigs alone.

A very common thing cigarette smokers experience when trying e-cigs for the first time is a tendency to cough, which happens for a variety of reasons – vapers feel thicker than smoke, etc. This shouldn’t be viewed as a downside but instead a learning curve because you don’t inhale e-cigs the same as you would a cigarette (e.g. e-cigs release a set amount of vapers regardless of how hard you inhale unlike cigarettes).

As with all sorts of other products in the world, there are a ton of electronic cigarettes on the market and it’s all about finding the one that best fits you. Don’t purchase an e-cig on a whim and expect it to be the magical thing that makes you quit smoking, though do experiment with various e-cigs and you might find a solid alternative.
